SuperAmerica, Speedway and Marathon are running a campaign to get the public to oppose clean energy legislation. We want the public to know the real story. That strong carbon legislation will not destroy the American Economy. It will help spur a green economy that will create jobs while protecting us from the tragedies associated with climate change. During the month of October 2009 please boycott these establishments.
No No, that is junk information from the Heritage Foundation. The non partisan Congressional Budget Office predicts that the house version of the climate bill would cost the average American family no more that $175 per year in 2020. For low income families who receive a heating subsidy, they can expect to pay $40 less than they are today.
